One medium turning a blind eye.
“After spending a year at post grad studying design I cant help but notice how much bad design there is out there. Especially in the photography industry. You would think one medium would respect the other and embrace it. My love, first and foremost, is my photographic practice and thats what brought me to design. I just wish people from my [main] profession would respect design more.

Photo-book Junk.
I don’t know why I am posting this as there is not much point but all the same I must post my thoughts. Now although I love the self-publishing photo-book industry, it kiils me to see how badly the [photo] industry has been hit by over processed, under skilled, under though and worst of all OVER HYPED IMAGERY. I struggle with how highly saturated the business of “intellectual”...

The problem with Edward R. Tufte's writings
Its seems to be very hard, when reading Edward R. Tufte’s books to find quotes. Not in the sense that there is a lack of, but that you find yourself going to ‘highlight’ every sentence! How can you pull ‘the best bits’ from a mans writings that are all ‘best bits’???
Dam his clever ways!
